IN THIS VIDEO: Blizzard Morning at Adam Lake | Frozen Sunrise, Extreme Wind & Packing Up the Hut Our final day at Adam Lake, Manitoba didn’t go quite as planned. A blizzard-like winter morning, strong winds, and heavy blowing snow completely changed how this day unfolded—but sometimes those unexpected moments tell the most real story. I started the morning early, heading out onto the frozen lake to try and film the sunrise, with snow flying across the ice and visibility changing by the minute. After returning to the hut, we warmed up with breakfast and began packing everything up, giving you a behind-the-scenes look at how we break down a winter setup. You’ll see how we load all our gear into a winter sled, drag it back to the vehicle, and then hit the road—driving through intense blowing snow across the lake roads. Along the way, we came across an old barn standing quietly against the storm. While I didn’t film it, I did stop to photograph it—some moments are meant to be captured as still images. ⚠️ Important Note: Due to the extreme wind and blizzard conditions, I ran into technical audio issues at the beginning of this video. I do apologize for that.
