Beautiful British Columbia Family Trip | Scenic Overlooks, Dam Views & Steak Night

IN THIS VIDEO: Beautiful British Columbia Family Trip | Scenic Overlooks, Dam Views & Steak Night. This Nomad Outdoor Adventures episode begins at the exact location where I photographed the image featured in my YouTube banner β€” a place that represents the heart of this channel. Starting our journey here set the tone for a meaningful family day in the rugged beauty of British Columbia. πŸ“ΈπŸŒ„ Before exploring deeper into B.C.’s landscapes, we captured some long-awaited family photos with our son and his family β€” moments you haven’t seen on the channel in more than six years. Sharing these memories again made the entire trip feel truly special. ❀️✨ Our next stop brought us to a stunning scenic viewpoint overlooking rolling hills, rugged ridges, and layered fall colours. We took photos, filmed the landscape, and soaked in the incredible views before heading back into town for a visit to an authentic cowboy store filled with hats, boots, and classic western gear. 🀠🟀 As evening arrived, we returned home and wrapped up the day by grilling delicious steaks β€” the perfect finish to a day of adventure and family time. The following morning, we headed out to a beautiful overlook featuring a long bridge stretching across valleys and gentle hills. The peaceful wind, the open wilderness, and the dramatic view made it one of the highlights of the trip. πŸŒ‰πŸŒΎ From there, we visited the dam area, where the mountains stood tall behind the water, their peaks lightly dusted with fresh snow. Below, the last touches of late-fall colour painted the landscape, creating a perfect scene for photography and filming. β„οΈπŸ‚πŸ”οΈ After exploring the dam and capturing the views on video, we returned home and closed the day with thick porterhouse steaks β€” the ideal ending to a trip full of scenery, family moments, and outdoor exploration. If you enjoy beautiful landscapes, emotional family moments, and behind-the-scenes photography from across Western Canada, this episode delivers it all. 🎬 Video Highlights & Timestamps 00:00 – Intro & Morning Greetings πŸŒ„ 00:06 – Fort St. John Area & Valley Views (YouTube Banner Location) 🌳 01:08 – family photos with our son and his family πŸ“Έ 03:20 – πŸ“Έ Family’s Special Moments in PhotosπŸ’–βœ¨ 05:10 – Western Store Adventure: Cowboy Boots & Hats 🀠 06:43 – BBQ Prep: Warming Grill & Salad πŸ₯— 07:52 – Seasoning & Cooking Rib Eye Steaks πŸ₯©πŸ”₯ 09:34 – Exploring Hudson Bay Area & Scenic Viewpoints πŸŒ„ 11:18 – Snowy Mountains & Fall Foliage Photography β„οΈπŸ‚ 12:55 – Dam Area Exploration & Mountain Peaks πŸ”οΈ 14:47 – Observing Wildlife: Elk & Dinosaur Footprints πŸ¦ŒπŸ¦– 15:50 – Snowfall, Clouds & Dam Views 🌨️ 16:58 – Final BBQ Steps: Butter, Onions, Garlic & Supper 🍴🧈 πŸ“± Filmed with iPhone 17 Pro Max πŸ“Έ Shot by Photographer Rudi Dueck πŸ“ Location British Columbia, Canada 🌐 Connect With Me Website: RudiDueck.com Portfolio: rudidueck.com/portfolio 🧒 Nature-Inspired Store: rudidueck.com/store πŸ“· Vero: vero.co/rudidueck 🐦 X (Twitter): x.com/RudiDueck πŸŽ₯ Rumble: rumble.com/c/c-506087 🌌 Bluesky: bsky.app/profile/photographerrudi.bsky.social πŸ“Έ Flickr: flickr.com/photos/rudidueckphotography Affiliate Blue Tiger USA https://bluetigerusa.com/?ref=nomad Coupon Code: RD060425 Join This Channel for Perks https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCm8OYSHT-zANaV8LpTOLPew/join πŸ“¬ Fan Mail PO BOX 99900 XX 384 133 RPO DOWNTOWN STEINBACH MB R5G 1X5 πŸ’– Like, Comment & Subscribe! β€’ Tap πŸ‘ if you enjoyed the adventure. β€’ Share your favourite moment in the comments. β€’ Don’t forget to πŸ”” subscribe for more nature, photography, and outdoor exploration across Canada! #NomadOutdoorAdventures #PhotographerRudiDueck #RudiDueck #OutdoorAdventure #ExploreCanada #FamilyAdventure #NaturePhotography #BCRoadTrip #ScenicViews #AdventureVlog #NatureVlog #LandscapePhotography #ManitobaPhotography #NomadicLifestyle #NorthernApparel
